Wiki Anesthesia code for SCS trial & implant

I am new to billing for SCS trial and implants. We bill using 63650 x2 for the trials and 63650 x2 with 63685 for the implant. What is the correct code for the anesthesia billing? 00300 and 00400 or 00600, 00620 and 00630? I appreciate any feedback. Thank you!

Hi there,
You will report one of the following codes for the trial depending on the location of the procedure.
  • 01941 Anesthesia for percutaneous image-guided neuromodulation or intravertebral procedures (eg, kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty) on the spine or spinal cord; cervical or thoracic
Or
  • 01942 Anesthesia for percutaneous image-guided neuromodulation or intravertebral procedures (eg, kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty) on the spine or spinal cord; lumbar or sacral

You can also report one of the codes for the permanent implant, or you can report 00300.
