however code G0269 is still on the charge sheets and it appears that on certain procedures it can be used. Also in Medicare compliance section and Code for closure device placement it states that G0269 is billable.

So now a little confused as to when or If it can truely be billed or not
 
Look at 2011 CPT descriptions as to whether or not closure is inclusive of procedure. Most of the new peripheral revascularization codes and all of the new diagnostic cardiac cath codes includes deployment of closure device if used. Embolization, transcatheter infusions-thrombolysis/thrombectomy & the new suprainguinal atherectomy codes (T codes) are a few of the codes do not include closure device placement as well as stent procedures (for example-renal) not bundled in the new 37220-37325 codes. I hope this helps.
