In order to code 46600, for services provided in the office, is it required that anesthesia was administered? Is this the correct way to code for visualization inside the rectum? Thanks for your input!
 
We perform these in our office without sedation and they are paid. If they used the anoscope to look at the rectum that would be the code to use.
