I've gone back thru the forum and tried to pull up what might be a solution to my question, but come up empty. Dr. states in the notes that 1 cc of depoProvera was administered by intramuscular method. HCPCS definition is 1 mg. How do I convert the 1 cc to the mg?

It all depends on the medication strength on the bottle to figure out the conversion. So for instance the Depo-Provera we give says 150mg to 1ml. 1ml = 1cc. So if our provider documented 1cc then we would be billing 150 units. Feel free to email me if you need more assistance.
