I have a vascular surgeon that did a anterior exposure of the L5-S1 for a orthopedic surgeon. Once the exposure was done for the orthopedic surgeon to perform his procedure on the spine my vascular doctor came back in to close. Please help on how to code for the vascular doctor. Thanks

Is the code for lap the same as open? with modifier 62. It does not specify.
