Hello,
Does anyone know if G0248 demonstration of INR monitoring can be billed if the patient's family member was at the visit, and the patient was not?
The code descriptor states face-to-face demonstration of use and care of the INR monitor .... documentation of patient's ability to perform testing." This makes me think it isn't billable for a family member, any suggestion on what code to use in this case?
