Hi Everyone,

Patient had a surgery for Aortic aneursym five years ago. Now the primary care physician is sending the patient to vascular clinic for follow up. what is the diagnosis code I can use for the PCP? V15.1 (History of surgery heart and great vessel) is it correct code? or 441.9 ?

You would use the V67.- code for follow up and the V code history of as a secondary. If the Condition no longer exists do not code it as a current problem.
