Hello!

I'm in need of assistance related to dialysis services.

NCCI edits seems to allow the separate coding of apheresis (36511-36516) alongside an inpatient dialysis code (e.g., 90935).

Are the apheresis services not inherent to dialysis? Also, if additionally reportable, as NCCI leads me to believe, what conditions and/or documentation must be present to support coding the apheresis?
