Hello,

Can someone please explain to me about being considered an apprentice even after getting certified? I heard from someone that I would have that title for about two years. Is this true? Please explain TT

Thank you in advance!

The apprentice designation indicates that you do not have on the job experience using codes - passing the exam is not on the job experience.

You will remain an apprentice until you have met the qualifications to have it removed. It may be two years or it may be ten years. Depends on how long it takes you to get on the job experience.

This link on the website explains how to remove the apprentice status.
