Can anyone clarify the appropriate billing or dropping of charges for a patient who is seen by a work comp physician, he/she needs a cast, and the cast is applied in another department? The procedure is done in orthopedics, but the patient is not seen by a provider, just sent over for the casting.
if anyone has any insight, i would appreciate the feedback. thank you
