Hi All,

Need help on this one.

The office E/M visit (POS-11) is denied as patient was in SNF. Main compliants for E/M visit is "tremor, cough and urinary symptoms". Need suggestions to make appropriate corrections for this scenario.

Thanks in advance,
TIM.

If the patient is registered as a SNF patient and is brought to your office, you still use the POS for the SNF not POS 11. You will find this addressed in in the Medicare manual. It does not matter the diagnosis.
