For instance , what to look for on a % basis of what is an acceptable average monthly AR balance to carry. What trends to look for, etc.

AR Management Stats for Billing

It use to be insurance denials per month should be under 5% according to amount billed vs reimbursement received back regaridng insrunac ebilling. This also depends on type of payers. Coders should finish coding records depending on type of medical specialty. ERM coding is 20 per hour, OP coding is 12 per hour and inpatient records 5 per hour I seem to recall with a 95-98% coding accuracy.
