Greetings! Can anyone help me with the following scenerios? We staff several hospitals with Neonatal nurse practitioners to cover NICU's 24 x 7. How should NNP bill when infant is transferred to NICU from the Newborn nursery and it is not clear if the pediatrician has billed for inital admission to the well child nursery. Should they bill subsequent care if they are not sure. Thank you!
