My doc did a knee arthroscopy w/ lateral retinacular release. She then used the Tac-s Wand by Oratech to shrink the medial retinacular tissue. The diagnosis is knee pain and petellar tracking. The doctor states a rep told her to use code 27428, however that code is for an open proceedure. Has anyone else billed for this? Help.
