Really need help on this. The report reads: Once the subacromial decompression was complete, the remainder of the bursal tissue was removed and care was taken to evaluate the rotator cuff, looking for the nodule. The Fluoroscan was used to find it. It was fairly posterior. An 18-gauge spinal needle was placed into the calcific nodule. A separate lateral incision was made more posteriorly and the scope was placed within, finding the needle at it's insertion site. A lot of punctures were made, a lot of calcific material was removed. Once the calcuim area was found, this was debrided and a large amount of the calcium was removed.Care was taken to only open the upper surface, and gentle debridement was completed.
I am thinking of using 29823, but this doesn't seem adequate for the amount of work done. Also, think I should use 76000 for the Fluoroscan. I would welcome your suggestions, Please. . . . .
