Hello, needing help coding this procedure. Physician states patient has a type 3 slap tear of the superior glenoid labral complex and resection was the treatment of choice. He states," I resected the rim of this and used cautery to repair and stabilize and seal the base of the repair. The undersurface of the cuff was then carefully evaluated and found to be intact. No glenohumeral arthritis seen and no instability noted." What code should I use?

Unfortunately you did not provide enough of the op note to give you a definitive answer. If the procedure was done arthroscopically and there is additional documentation, you may want to look at the lay description for 29807 to see if it will work for you.
