Arthroscopic rotator cuff and subacromial decompression using the revised code 29826 as an add on code. AMA CPT book and Ingenix Coding Companion under 29827 states that you should use a mod 51 on 29826 when used in addition to 29827.

Does anyone know if this is correct since 29826 was revised for an add on code?
 
You don't need the 51 since it is now an add on code however your payers might still want it. Remember to watch your payment closely as they are not to take any additional reductions-I'm sure they are going to try. :)
