When coding/billing these procedures with the unlisted 29999 what is the correct comparison codes? Also the Gulteus Medius debridement - 29999 - what is this comparison code?

Keep in mind that there is no "one answer" to these types of questions. Others with more experience that I have may suggest different codes. For the trochanteric bursectomy and gluteus debridement I feel 29862 is a good code as these procedures are really debridement procedures. For the tendon lengthening this is basically a tenotomy procedure so I feel 27000 is probably a good choice.
