Can providers bill for the procedures that are provided at the ASC ?10 cases? when the new surgery center is in the process of being accredited?

We know the surgery center can?t bill for the service.

We are not sure if the provider can bill for their service. We do not think we can bill Medicare for the providers service, but what about other insurance companies?

We are in California.
 
Some carriers will allow you to bill without accreditation or Medicare certification. It is carrier specific. I bill for pain, spine, ortho ASC in California.

Which carrier(s) are you trying to bill?
