Hello everyone
My billing office has informed me that we are going to start coding for an ASC. What would be the best way to learn this. Does anyone know of any books webinars conferences etc to get me started. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I work for ASC what type of procedures are you coding for? I am also going to take the CPC-H in 2 wks!!!!

ASC coding

I have been coding for an ASC for over three years. The best part is that the surgery cases are global billing. :o. You will need to know what your contracts allow you to bill for implant cases. These can be billed separately if it is in your contracts. A good source of information is the ASC website (http://www.ascassociation.org/Home/) and Becker's ASC Review (http://www.beckersasc.com/).
