Wiki ASC Procedure same day as E/M visit

If a patient is having an ASC procedure in POS 24 and on the same day having an E/M visit with a midlevel or a Nursing Visit in POS 11 would modifier 25 on the E/M line be the appropriate modifier? If not, what modifier would you suggest?

If the provider performing the ASC procedure is the same provider, or a provider of the same group and specialty, as the provider performing the E/M service, then a modifier 25 would be appropriate (assuming it is supported by the documentation). Otherwise no modifier should be required.
