Does anyone know if Asclera or Polidocanol are separately billable for sclerotherapy (36470/36471)? This agent was FDA approved in March 2010, but I'm not sure if it can be billed in addition to the sclerotherapy codes. If so, has a HCPCS code been assigned to it?

Thank you!

Hello Gail,
Did you ever get an answer to this question? I am starting to code for IR and have looked for a good half an hour now and there is nothing about this code in HCPCs! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
