Hi,
I am confused for very long time regarding ICD 10 code for Aspirin allergy, someone suggested to code Z88.6 as aspirin is a pain reliever , but aspirin is also a platelet inhibitor, so i am thinking about Z88.8, Kindly clarify my doubt. Thanks in Advance
 
Although Aspirin is also an antithrombotic, it's drug class is a NSAID, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Z88.6 would be correct.
