Wiki Assistant surg modifier for phys assit?

If the assistant surgeon is a physician assistant not a surgeon is there a modifier for this? Is there any way the physician assit can be reimbursed for this? Please Advise.

Yes so long as an assistant is allowed on that particular procedure and, if applicable, documentation clearly shows the need for an assistant.
