Wiki Associate MFT billings under supervisor MFT?

In the past I have billed claims for sessions performed by the AMFT or ASW under the name of the practice's supervising provider or the main provider (a licensed MFT or LCSW) who is contracted with the patient's plan. I am now hearing this is not correct or allowed and I need definitive answers to ensure ethical billing practices.
