My Doctor would like to hire a athletic trainer to work with his patients while he is in the room. We would use the codes 97110,97116 and 97530. Can I bill under the Doctor even though he would not be doing the prodecure the Doctor would dictate like a scribe. Any ideas on this I would greatly appreciate In other words he wants to hire a anthletic trainer and bill under the Doc. Athletic trainers are not reconized by insurance companys.
