hello all,

What do you bill when MAC won't pay for Cat III codes for Pure Tone audiometry that is automated? 92551-92557 are manual and this provider is using an automated machine with a certified technician. Has anyone been paid for the Cat III codes 0208T-0212T. according to MAC Palmetto does not pay for Cat III codes, but how do you bill out correct codes when knowing there is no reimbursement. would Cat III codes be considered part of the E&M since they are temporary codes. Is there an equivalent in HCPCS for Cat III codes. HELP!!! appreciate it. G
