Help in explaining billing for dobutamine stress test in hospital setting. we bill 93350, 93220, 93225, 93016 & 93018. Our compliance is saying that we need to bill 93306 & 93015. Please explain. Thanks

If the echo is done during the performance of the stress test, you are correct. If the echo is at a different session than the dobutamine stress test, then using 93306 would be correct. It all depends on the timing of the tests. Using 93015 for a hospital based stress test by the physician is incorrect. 93015 is a complete stress test, using your own equipment.
