Hello All -

I would like to ask this question, especially to all the auditors/reviewers -

Do you give your doctors credit for reading and interpreting EKGs? Or, if the physician signs one, do you give him/her credit for it?

I was asked this question on several occasions and I stated if they interpret it into their notes and document it, I would give them credit.

Is this correct?

What do you mean by credit? Do you mean to code the Professional Component? When a patient has lab work with an office visit, his interpretation is included in the visit. Correct me if I'm wrong.
