We are considering hiring a bariatrician for our bariatric program. I was wondering if you have do bariatric surgery, if you have a bariatrician with your program and if so, could I inquire on how to bill. Do you bill out for monthly visits as regular office visits? If so, do you use their co-morbidities as the diagnosis codes. I just don't want to get into problems if/when we might start this and I need to lay it all out for the doctors. I appreciate any guidance you might have to offer.
