I am looking for some input on billing for baseline testing. I have ophthalmologists that run OCTs, VFs and do Fundus Photos on pts just to have a baseline on them. Is that common in most practices? If there is no valid diagnosis or the provider documents "baseline" on the test, is that even billable? Would sure like some input from someone. Thank you!
