Wiki Behavioral Health Billing and NCCI Edits

Does anyone in Ohio have experience with billing an E/M on the same date of service as Individual Psychotherapy Treatment but under the same tax identification number but two different provider NPI numbers?

Example: 99214 by the M.D.
90834 by the LPC

They are billed under the same Tax ID number but on separate submissions.

NCCI Edits say, "All line items for the same beneficiary, same NPI, and same date of service shall be subject to NCCI procedure-to-procedure (PTP) edits." but I keep seeing denials.
