Newly contracted facility and having major issues billing TriWest and getting them to process claims. A lot of run around with claims department and getting definitive answers. Is anybody else seeing these issues or problems with the customer support? We currently bill H0018/1002 for residential inpatient substance abuse facility. Per their guidelines TriWest requires the complete admit to discharge on one claim. This is being done and they are very slow with processing and/or claims sitting at pending status. Is there another option to get them to process quicker? I am being told they could be 120 days for claims to pay. Any insight is appreciated.
