My doctors have me doing a report of E&M codes. I have shown them statistics of the codes they have performed this year along with the allowed amt from local BCBS and Mcr. According to the general bell curve chart they are undercoding our office visits. I need to know if there is another chart for the bell curve specifically for general surgery charges or if there is just the one bell curve chart. I have no idea where to start to look for this and any help would be greatly appreciated.
