Hello,

I need to buy a new ICD-9 book to take my exam with. The ICD-9 book I have now is the PMIC book. I like it, but I have never used a different book and would like to know if anyone likes a different book better. Thanks!

ICD-9 Book

Having taught the CPC Review Class for our local chapter, I find it hard to believe that anyone would try to take the CPC (or any of their exams) using an ICD-9 book other than the one from AAPC. So many times I have had students take the review class with books other than the AAPC one and they are amazed at how much material (extra notes and info) their ICD-9 book does not have. If you are going to take the CPC exam, I strongly encourage you to invest in the ICD-9 book you can purchase through AAPC. AAPC is writing the exam, why would you not use their material to take the exam?
