Hi!
I need some help. We are thinking of starting some group therapy sessions for a few kiddos. We've never done this before and I'm thinking of how to bill correctly. I've seen the codes 99411 and 99412 floating around. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with these codes and knows any restrictions.?? Or if I'm in the wrong area completely and should be using other codes???
Any help is appreciated!!! :)

I am not familiar with 99411/99412. What provider would be leading these groups? Is there a specific focus for these groups (substance abuse, mental health disorders)? As a behavioral health entity we use 90853 for all group therapy without regard to age categories. These are lead by therapists with doctors as supervising.
