Hello everyone, just a simple inguiry today. My surgeon is treating a type 11 slap lesion with proximal biceps tenotomy and is also doing a biceps tenodesis for a tear of the biceps. I had billed the arthroscopic tenotomy on previous surgeries using the 29999 unlisted and attaching the documentation. The surgeon is sending the charges now with 29807 in the documentation for the slap lesion repair. Reading the desk reference description for 29807 it doesn't seem like the work supports that code. Is anyone else billing for this? Could the 29807 be used with the -52 modifier? Is there any documentation anywhere that covers this procedure for the tenotomy? Thanks again, Paula
