Does anyone know what procedure codes to use for placement of left and right iliac Gunther-Tulip filters secondary to megacava and pulmonary emboli? an ultrasound-quided access to right internal jugular catheter was performed and also a Venogram of the aorta and iliacs. I can't find iliac filter placement and am also unsure what to use for the ultrasound-guided access?

This is an unlisted procedure, you should use 37799. You should also code the catheter placement codes, probably 36000 or 36011 depending on the access point. You can also code any venography performed as long as there is an interpretation of the films.

The code most closely related to this is 37620 but that is for placement of a filter into the Vena Cava.
