Hello, I have a question, one of my general surgeons performed a bilateral inguinal hernia repair, the left side however was both direct and indirect, right side only indirect, i am not sure if using a 49505 and 49525 on the left and 49525 on the right would be correct? any comments would be appreciated.:p

Direct or indirect doesn't have anything to do with it being sliding. A sliding inguinal hernia can be either or both. If the note doesn't state that it is a sliding inguinal hernia I would use 49505-50.
