I have a patient who is receiving treatment for both knees. One is under commercial insurance the other is under BWC. Can you bill both insurances for the same day of treatment? I have separate notes for each visits.

Yes, definitely. I have a couple of doctors who do that all the time. Separate notes are a must...so good job on that. Just make sure it's really clear on each note WHICH knee they're treating, so there's no confusion down the road if the commercial insurance wants clarification on what the workers's comp is covering.
