These op have me confused. Operation was: ORIF for zygomaticomaxillary & nasomaxillary fractures bilaterally. Coded with 21422. Is CPT 21422 a bilateral procedure? If done on both sides is it reported with 50,L&R modifiers or is correct to use 21423. Or am I not in the correct code series. Thanks!
