When we take bilateral hip xrays they are being denied we bill with a rt and lt on the 73510 and the insurance is saying only 1 unit per day we tried a 50 and they do not like that either can we use the 73520 if we do not take the pelvis ??????????? Thank you

I would code this as 73520-52 to show that the pelvis wasn't performed.

I don't think you need to add modifier since there is a diff code for pelvis.
