Wiki Billing 67028-50 to BCBS of NC

How do you bill 67028-50 to BCBS of NC 1 unit or 2. Is anyone having issues getting these paid correctly.

I am so sorry that I don't remember the Edit/error message for BCBS when 67028 goes into into Edits/correction wq for this type of error. I was surprised that this commercial insurance does not accept modifier 50. So, when 67028 goes into Edits, we follow the instructions that the error message gives us, and I believe! BCBS is asking to bill 67028 on 2 lines: RT, LT. I went to check the edits today and nothing was for BCBS only for Medicare asking to use 50. So, I believe BCBS wants us to bill it on 2 lines. If I find such examples, I will post here.
