Hello

I bill for a dermatology practice that does second opinion on slides we bill it as 88321 for the first slide and 88305.26.59.91 for the all other slides. We keep getting denials for the 88305.26.59.91 saying that the referring md got paid for the global 88305... I need some help how do I bill the second slides?

Thanks

You can only bill for one of the slides which is a 88321, no matter how many slides are sent for this patient. If you perform any stains then the code changes to 88323.
