Is it appropriate to bill cpt 99234 with EGD or colonoscopy? I had said no to the physician because the H&P would be included in the global for the procedure. He states since there is no global on these procedures it should be ok to bill for the H&P with the 99234 Does anyone know of any documentation supporting either billing the 99234 or opposing billing the 99234? Thanks for any info you can provide.
