One of my physicians did an IM therapeutic injection. I have the e/m code with a 25 modifier; the code for the injection. But need help with the medicines. It was one 10cc injection consisting of 5cc Lidocaine, 4cc Marcaine, and 1cc Kenalog. Usually, it's just Kenalog. Don't think I can bill the Lidocaine b/c it's got IV in the manual. Would I bill S0020 x 0.4 units and J3301 x 0.1 unit?
