Wiki Billing and Reimbursement for code 20936 with Modifier AS and 82

Does anyone know if we are able to bill code 20936 with A2 and 82 modifiers and if so is it payable?

20936 does not allow an assistant at surgery. If you have any online encoder, this information should be available there. It's also in some CPT books (like AAPC Procedural coding expert). Otherwise, the information is available on the Medicare website, but not all that user friendly. Some MACs have more user friendly versions (like Novitas has it on their fee schedule lookup https://www.novitas-solutions.com/webcenter/portal/MedicareJH/FeeLookup )
