Wiki Billing CPT 63277 and 63276

In order to bill both 63277 and 63276 in the same surgery, the vertebral levels have to be separated, right? Can my doctor bill both codes when the procedures are performed at L1 and T12??

To me, the main procedure is at L1/2, and T12/L1 is considered "contiguous."
