Hello,
I am fairly new to Behavioral health billing and need to know how we can bill for an ADOS.
We have been billing the 90791, along with the 96130, 31, 36, 37, 38, 39 and 96146. We bill the 90791 one per day, so if we do 6 hours, we bill 6 90791 each on separate dates.
Does anyone know if billing the 90791 on different dates causes red flags with insurances? We billed 90791 one a day for six days but then we received an audit for Optum.
