Wiki Billing for an ACS

In regards to facility billing. I was told that ASC's should only bill for 1 unit because they are charging for the "set up" of the operating facility, and they only set up 1 time regardless of how many procedures are performed by the surgeon. The provider can bill for more than 1 unit for CPT codes, but the ASC should only bill 1 unit per CPT code. Is the 1 unit correct?

This is not correct - facilities can bill for each procedure that is performed. Multiple procedure reductions apply to facilities in a similar way as the do to physician claims.
